NSEUS, National Study of Education in Undergraduate Science is a 5-year project that focuses on critical needs in teaching undergraduate science to all diverse majors with emphasis on the preparation and long-term development of pre-service, undergraduate, K-6 teachers of science. It highlights the importance of science in today’s growing technological society.

The Goals of this Program are:

  • Investigate the impact of NOVA reformed undergraduate science courses on learning and teaching of K-6 science teachers
  • Help advance the research and teaching of undergraduate science faculty
  • Why Undergraduate Science?
  • Influences pre-service teachers’ conceptions of science and how it should be taught
